About
Businesses don't scale by accident. They scale by design.
I'm Shivani Narang, a Business Scaling Coach working with founder-led businesses. Most of the founders I work with are not short on effort or ideas. They are running a business that has outgrown the way it was originally set up.
My work is to find what is actually holding growth back, design a practical way forward, and stay involved while it gets implemented.

My journey
I learned what scaling requires by first learning what happens without it.
Back in 2015, I co-founded a venture. Seven months later, my co-founder quit. I stayed, and I pushed harder. Two years later, I was crying in my car.
I had taken on everything—marketing, sales, operations, delivery and finance—thinking that's what it takes to build something meaningful. It wasn't. I wasn't failing; I was burned out because I had no systems, no structure and no clarity on what actually mattered.
I shut the venture down and moved into strategy consulting. I worked with high-growth startups, unicorns and large enterprises, building go-to-market strategies, launching new businesses and driving execution. I learned how businesses scale, how systems are built and how clarity changes everything.
Eventually, I left my job to help founders use the same principles and frameworks that high-growth entrepreneurs and successful companies use.
The pattern I kept seeing
- 1. High founder dependency
- 2. Low accountability and ownership in teams
- 3. Lack of clarity about the ideal customer
- 4. No consistent lead-generation system
- 5. High founder burnout
That's when I first created the Founder Burnout Assessment and then the Business Scalability Assessment, to help founders understand exactly what is keeping them from scaling.
There is nothing more exciting than seeing someone build a successful business. I truly believe entrepreneurs are the backbone of a country—solving real problems and making our lives better every day.
Cheers to the founders making the world a better place. Let's take your business to the next level together.
Approach
Strategy and implementation, in the same engagement.
A recommendation that never gets implemented has no value to a business. So the work does not end at the plan.
Strategic thinking
Start with the constraint, not the tactic. Fewer priorities, chosen deliberately.
Practical implementation
Plans are built to be worked, and I stay involved while they are put into practice.
Close founder partnership
Regular working sessions with the founder, and with the team where relevant.
Measurable outcomes
Progress reviewed against business indicators, not the number of sessions held.
Beliefs
What I hold to in this work.
- Strategy before tactics.
- Execution creates results.
- Systems reduce unnecessary dependency.
- Accountability creates ownership.
- Sustainable growth requires intentional design.
- Founders should lead their businesses rather than carry every part of them.

Let's look at what's actually limiting your growth.
A discovery call is a straightforward conversation about the business, where it's headed and what's in the way.
